WEIMO sidecar front tire 20 inches

After the initial idea for a custom 20-inch front tire and contact with a manufacturer, the first prototype tests took place in mid-2025. The results were immediately positive. The tire exceeded expectations. Five race distances were completed without any noticeable loss of grip.
Our opinion: excellent grip, agile handling, strong braking performance, good durability – a superb combination! As a next step, WEIMO Motorsport commissioned a small production run. After receiving the first production tires, we ventured to use the new tire at the German Championship race in Hennweiler. Foden/Weinmann achieved second place overall with this tire, finishing behind Prümmer/Steegmans.

And here it is: the WEIMO front tire for hard surfaces. Ideal for top international riders as well as owners of classic sidecar outfits still equipped with the formerly standard 20-inch front wheel. And all at a truly fair price.

(1) WEIMO Motorsport uses this product in its own racing team and places the highest value on the safety and best quality of the product.

(2) The use of racing tires is always in conjunction with products from other manufacturers (e.g. rims, tubes, mousse etc.) over which WEIMO as a supplier has no influence.

(3) The use of products from other manufacturers (e.g., tubes, mousse) as well as incorrectly installed sizes or incorrect tire shape can cause damage to the tire and consequently lead to accidents during use.

(4) Due to the special use of tires in off-road sports and the associated risks, the supplier is not liable for consequential damages such as material failure, racing accidents, or similar events.

(5) The seller is not liable for negligent or incorrect installation, unless this constitutes a breach of essential contractual obligations. This liability is limited to damages that the seller foresaw as a possible consequence of a breach of contract at the time of conclusion of the contract. Indirect and consequential damages resulting from defects in the delivered goods are only recoverable to the extent that such damages are typically to be expected when the delivered goods are used as intended.
