In short words: We are convinced about the quality of this product. During our World Championship teams pre season tests in 2026 this tyre exceeded our expectations. Whether on hard or soft ground, hundreds of laps and race simulations, the tyre showed no knob breakage or loss of grip.
The requirements for speed and durability are naturally different for national championships and hobby riders, and cannot be tested by the World Championship team themselves.
Therefore we offer the tire to a larger group of riders at a special price, in order to also take their experiences and impressions into account for future models.The 20" wheel size results in a smaller wheel diameter, thus shorter spokes and therefore higher lateral stiffness of the wheel compared to the 21" wheels.
The result is more precise steering. The overall victory of Foden/Weinmann at the Rudersberg GP in 2025 proved this. The team will also use the 20" front tire in the 2026 season. Therefore, WEIMO Motorsport took the initiative and commissioned this custom tire.
