FODEN/WEINMANN
At just 26 years of age, Dan Foden can already look back on a long career. After beginning in solo motocross, the Brit switched to sidecar racing at the tender age of 13. Just one year later he was already competing in the Kids & Sidecars youth series, which had been launched in the Netherlands at the time. Aged 15, he lined up in the British Championship being the youngest participant. Yet despite many top results and two runner-up titles on home soil, his international breakthrough failed to materialize. The low point: after the second world championship round of 2024, passenger Ryan Humphrey suddenly ended his career. A suitable replacement could not be found.
Dan Foden’s career was on the brink—until June 2025. “When I heard about Joshua’s injury, I called Noah,” the self-employed carpenter recalls of their first contact. It was the beginning of a success story.
After an acclimatization process at the GP in Straßbessenbach, the British-German duo took off on a remarkable rise. Their second place at the GP in France was followed by the highlight of their career: the overall victory at the world championship finale in Rudersberg. In the 2026 season, the newly formed dream team will contest all world championship and German championship races together. Chances are that the success story will continue.
